One Day National Seminar on

‘Indian English Fiction after 1947’.

We are glad to inform you that our Department of English is going to organize a One Day National Seminar on ‘Indian English Fiction after 1947’, under the aegis of DGHE on 14 March, 2017.

The sub- topics of the seminar are as under:

v Indo-British relations and Indian English Fiction

v Mythology entwined in Indian English Fiction

v Feminist ethos in Indian English Fiction

v Dalit voices

v Celebrating the Carnivalesque in Indian English Fiction

v Themes of Cultural transformation and Globalization in Diasporic writings

v Indian English Fiction in 21^st century

v Any other relevant topic.

Faculty members and scholars are requested to send their papers on the topics mentioned above by 10^th March, 2017 at our college email id i.e. dav_dav2007@rediffmail.com. The selected papers will be published in the college online journal
