Blood Donation and Awareness Activities

DAV College Sadhaura encourages voluntary blood donation and awareness activities among students and members of the College community as part of its commitment to social responsibility and community service. Voluntary, non-remunerated blood donation contributes to maintaining an adequate and safe blood supply for patients who require transfusion.

Key Activities

  • Organize or facilitate voluntary blood donation camps in coordination with authorized agencies.

  • Create awareness among students and staff about the importance of voluntary blood donation.

  • Encourage eligible students and staff members to participate voluntarily in blood donation activities.

  • Conduct awareness programmes highlighting the social importance of blood donation.

  • Collaborate with authorized blood centres and recognized organizations for organizing donation camps.

  • Promote the spirit of voluntary service, compassion, and humanitarian responsibility.

  • Observe World Blood Donor Day and other relevant occasions through awareness activities.

  • Maintain appropriate records and documentation of blood donation activities, wherever required.

All blood donation activities are carried out in coordination with authorized blood centres and recognized organizations and in accordance with applicable health, safety, and procedural guidelines.

Through these initiatives, the College endeavours to promote a culture of voluntary service and community responsibility and encourage eligible members of the College community to contribute to public welfare through responsible blood donation and awareness activities.
