Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC)
DAV College Sadhaura has constituted the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) to promote a culture of innovation, creativity, entrepreneurship, and start-up activities within the College. The IIC provides a platform for students and faculty members to develop innovative ideas, explore emerging opportunities, and participate in activities related to innovation and entrepreneurship.
Key Activities of the IIC
Create awareness about innovation, entrepreneurship, and start-up opportunities.
Encourage students to develop creative, original, and innovative ideas.
Organize workshops, seminars, awareness programmes, and expert interaction sessions.
Promote design thinking, problem-solving, ideation, and innovation processes.
Encourage participation in innovation and entrepreneurship-related activities.
Facilitate interaction with innovators, entrepreneurs, industry professionals, and subject experts.
Support students in developing, refining, and presenting innovative ideas.
Promote awareness of intellectual property rights and related practices, wherever applicable.
Encourage participation in innovation challenges, competitions, and relevant programmes.
Foster an innovation-oriented and entrepreneurial culture across the College.
The IIC endeavours to provide students and faculty members with opportunities to transform creative ideas into meaningful innovations, develop entrepreneurial skills, and engage with emerging opportunities. Through its activities, the Council contributes to the development of an ecosystem that encourages innovation, creativity, problem-solving, and entrepreneurship within the College.
Constitution and Framework
The Institution’s Innovation Council is constituted and functions in accordance with the applicable guidelines and framework of the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell, along with relevant institutional requirements and provisions. The Council undertakes activities in accordance with the prescribed framework and the academic and institutional objectives of the College.
